Privacy & Ethics

Isabel Campanelli is a Coach that adheres to the International Coaching Federation's Code of Ethics as outlined here.

Coaching is a partnership of two people coming together to assist a client in identifying where they’d like to go, what needs to be shifted, and what identified milestones will demonstrate that the partnership is producing desired results.

Coaching is forward moving and growing, therapy is backwards facing and fixing.

Isabel Campanelli maintains the strictest levels of confidentiality with all parties as agreed upon. Client information will be held as confidential unless stated otherwise, in writing, except as required by law. For information that involves physically hurting oneself or others, the coach must report such information and/or refer to mental health professionals accordingly.

Isabel is not a therapist or licensed health care provider and does not provide medical advice, engage in patient diagnosis, or practice therapy. If any issues come up for you that should be handled by a licensed therapist or physician, we can stop coaching while you attend to these. Or, coaching and therapy can co-exist (you can still move forward toward your goals), we can continue to work together while you also work with other professionals.

For clients who are currently receiving psychiatric care for mental illness, consulting with their caregiver to ensure working with a coach is in their best interest at this time is required.

Coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of his/her/their life, including work, finances, health, relationships, sex, education and recreation. The Client agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching principles into those areas and implementing choices is exclusively the Client’s responsibility.
